Our Codes of Conduct
Bedford Panthers FC - 2008/9 Season Players Code of Conduct
- Players will have a good attitude at training and matches.
- Players will turn up for training and matches on time.
- Players will show good sportsmanship and respect at all times.
- Players will shake hands with opponents after the game.
- No jewellery is to be worn by players during training or a game.
- Players will always wear the correct kit for training and matches (including suitable clothing allowing for weather conditions and astro-pitch surfaces).
- Club kit is only to be worn for matches.
- Player’s shirts are to be tucked in whilst playing a match.
- Football boots must be clean and in good condition.
- Players must wear shin pads during training and matches (no shin pads means no play).
- No eating or chewing during training or matches.
- No swearing or fighting on or off the field.
- No abuse or racial remarks shall be made towards any other player, official or supporter.
- Respect the wishes of your Manager and Coach.
- Inform your Manager or Coach when you have an injury.

- Ensure your child arrives on time and is collected on time at all training and matches.
- Display good sportsmanship at all times.
- Stand well back when watching matches – behind the line.
- Do not put pressure on your child especially in matches.
- Always encourage your child, never be negative.
- Only discuss your concerns about training or matches with the team manager or coach in private.
- Inform the manager or coach if there has been a change in your child’s medical condition.
- Don’t swear at any player, official or supporter.
- No abuse or racial remarks are to be made towards any player, official or supporter.
- Don’t drink alcohol during training sessions or matches.
- Ensure that suitable clothing and footwear is worn by your child.
- Pay your training subs, match fees and annual fees on time.
Failure to adhere to the Codes of Conduct may result in disciplinary action by the club.
