Welcome to the Bedford Panthers FC Official Web Site where you will be able to find all the latest news, information and results regarding our teams playing this season. Bedford Panthers FC’s proud history stretches back to 2004. The club was formed and set up by Dave Farooqui in 2004 as a standalone club.

The club name was chosen by all players that were involved in the club in 2004.

In October 2005 we gained the FA Charter Standard Status. We are now working towards the next level of Charter Standard being Charter Standard Development, which only a very few clubs in Bedford hold.

Since 2004 we have seen many talented players join our club, and most are still with us today.

All of our managers & coaches hold the FA Level 1 Coaching certificate, with some of our managers & coaches qualified to FA Level 2.

We have had some pleasing results in the league.

2005/6 – Under 12s came runners up in the Chiltern Youth League

2006/7 – Under 12s won the division in the Chiltern Youth League

2007/8 – Under 8s B won the division in the Filmergraphics League
Under 12s won the division in the Chiltern Youth League

2008/9 - Under 13s A won the division in the Chiltern Youth League

We currently have 10 teams from Under 9s to Under 15s, plus new this season an adults team - 4 teams playing junior football in the Chiltern Youth League and 5 teams playing mini soccer in the Filmergraphics League. Each team competes on a competitive league basis, as well our junior teams compete in the County Cup and both junior and mini soccer teams compete in the League Cup.

Our adults team competes in the Michael R Peters Bedford & District Sunday Football League.

In addition to competing in the league, our teams take part in summer tournaments in the closed season.

In 2006 we hosted our first in house tournament, and due to the outstanding success this will now be an event we will consider every season.

Clearly for any voluntary run organization to survive, we heavily rely on funds we can get into the club. As a club we are very grateful for the support that our Committee, Managers & Coaches provide week in week out, come wind, rain or sunshine. We are however, always looking for more Coaches & Committee members.
